Sudan Update: Nyaguech's Dream
About 2 weeks ago we wrote you about our visit to the Dajo Buldit Church and how
surprised we were to see Nyaguech, the local witchdoctor in church. Well, we
got an earful from Simon this evening as we sat around drinking ginger flavored
coffee with him and a few other friends. Simon said Nyaguech shared a dream with
him -- a dream that led her to church
In her dream she was very ill (as she has been in real life due to the demonic
harrassment). She was walking to the church and her dead mother was following
close behind her. At church she met her son who offered her some tea. He told
her to drink, but she refused, saying they must pray first. She prayed in the
name of Jesus and when she was done praying, in her dream she was healed
instantly. When she awoke from her dream, she was also healed in real life
completely. She felt that her mother was telling her not to follow the ways of
her ancestors but to embrace Christianity. From that point on she knew this One
True God, Jesus, was real and she has decided to give up her witchcraft. She
said she is going to throw all of her occult items away.
God continues to draw people to Himself here in dramatic ways. We are seeing a
divine transformation. To God be the glory!
